  SxSW 2006 & The Aussie Assault - Part 3 By: Roocast Day 3 sees the Trade stands open for business. Austrade's fourth year of involvement with SxSW sees it holding the largest national stand on the trade floor. Managed by Phil Tripp and Immedia, delegates and bands/managers utilise the space for information, and holding meetings throughout the day. In conjunction with the Music Managers Forum and VIC Music, the organisers of SxSW held a 'roadshow' at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne in early August. The evening was a six month 'heads up' to artists, managers, labels and music business professionals who either plan to attend SxSW March 14-18 2007 or bands who wish to apply to showcase at the event.
