  SxSW 2006 & The Aussie Assault - Part 2 By: Roocast Day 2, and the official live showcases have begun. Austin is a rich blend of buskers and big music industry events, all vying for the attention of the visiting delegates. In conjunction with the Music Managers Forum and VIC Music, the organisers of SxSW held a 'roadshow' at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne in early August. The evening was a six month 'heads up' to artists, managers, labels and music business professionals who either plan to attend SxSW March 14-18 2007 or bands who wish to apply to showcase at the event.
