  The Ever First Boomcast: Boomtown Showdown By: Boomtown Records
The first ever Boomtown Showdown was in May 2005 at Melbourne's best All Ages venue - TLC Bayswater. The show was a massive success, selling out of all 600 tickets and being one of the most exciting shows of the year. So this year, Boomtown Records has teamed up with Myspace, Spy Optic and Blunt Magazine to make the Boomtown Showdown a national tour featuring 8 shows up the East Coast of Australia. With all shows but one being completely All Ages, and with some of the best bands in Australia playing (Angelas Dish, The Getaway Plan, In Fiction and Wishful) - these shows are sure to be some of the best of the year. To celebrate the tour, Roocast and Boomtown Records have joined forces to bring you the first ever Boomcast. Featuring DJ’s Luke and Luke, the show will provide you with news, gossip and interviews on all the Boomtown Showdown bands, as well as new tracks from all the Boomtown bands.
